Sister time = doughnut time
[little sister not included in the actual making of the oh-rings]
Ingredients:
2 cans of Pillsbury doughnuts [we used Buttermilk]
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
2 TBSP cinnamon [or enough to make a good cinnamon/sugar mix]
Directions:
1. Separate each biscuit piece into two [peeling apart making the piece thinner]
2. Lay out each biscuit and using something small and round, cut out holes in middle of each one.
3. Once the oil is hot enough [test by putting a small drop of water in the oil, if it sizzles you're good to go] put each ring in the oil and turn it continuously until golden brown.
PS - DON'T leave the doughnut cooking station!
4. Lay each doughnut on a plate covered in paper towels to soak up the excess oil, then dip each one in the cinnamon/sugar mixture. They should look like this when you're done :)
5. Eat and enjoy! What an easy, yummy treat!
Happy Sunday my friends!
