It's that time again for
"Favorite Things Friday"
This week I've got a few things that have brought me joy! Two are favorite things that have made me smile, and the other is something that hopefully you can use too!
My coworker Ruthie:
I can always count on her to make me laugh and help me get through my work day. I am a firm believer that God brings people into your life for certain reasons, and she was definitely brought into mine to remind me to laugh, because it's good for your soul!
My iPhone photo apps:
I don't know if any one's noticed, but my pictures are looking a little different lately, because I've discovered these really sweet amazing apps! All do different things! Some have asked me about which apps I use, so here is my list! If you're obsessed with your iPhone and pictures like I am, you should definitely check it out.
Photos and Camera - come standard on the phone
Hipstamatic - It's another camera that you can change the "lenses" on
Photobooth - pretty self explanatory! It takes four pictures in a row and "develops" them in a vertical line that look like the old time photobooth pictures!
PS(Photoshop) Express - Let's you mess with the color, brightness, borders, shadowing of the photos. This was my favorite until I discovered
Instagram! - It has 12 different effects, all change the color and border of the photo, I don't know how to explain it other than you've GOT to try it! :) I especially love one of the twelve features that is called "1977", it turns your picture into a 1977 snapshot - I LOVE old photos. This app is right up my alley!
TiltShiftGen - allows you to focus on something specific in the photo and make everything else around it blurry. Very whimsical :)
PhotoStudio - has over 100 different things you can do to your photo. Crazy things.
And last but not least,
The view from my office in the morning:
IT'S GORGEOUS! Not only is the sunrise beautiful, but I love that we have a front row seat of Mt. Rainier's glory as well! On Wednesday we had the warmest day in Washington since 1961! It got up to 76degrees F in some places, unusually warm weather for this time of year, we enjoyed every minute of it!
What have been your favorites this week?
I hope you all have safe and happy weekends!
PS - 365 Days in Pictures
that is a lovely view! i don't have an iphone!
ReplyDelete:( maybe someday! hope you have a good weekend girl!
One of my favorite things from this week was when my mom texted me the other night and told me that my dad was going to be at Central tomorrow! He's a football ref so he's reffing the Central game. I haven't seen my family since I returned to school in September and even though I'll have to share Dad with a bunch of other football refs, it'll be worth it :D
